This has been a long time coming and I am excited to finally get this interview up on the web.  I had to move my practice because I really wanted to do something special in terms of providing clients and readers meaningful content to help them become more successful in investing and indeed in life.  It will come as no surprise to those of you who know me, that the chance to interview Helene Meisler was a personal thrill!

Helene Meisler in my opinion (among others, like Jim Cramer and Doug Kaas) is one of the best Technical Analysts in the world.  Although this interview was conducted on June 24th 2010, I believe you will find it just as relevant today as when I conducted it more than a year ago. She had a profound impact on how I look at the market and manage money for my clients.  She worked at S.G. Cowan and Goldman Sachs before briefly retiring only to return (after Jim encouraged her) to write her daily newsletter Top Stocks for the TheStreet.com.  She brings a unique view of the market from both advising some of the smartest money on the street as well as defining what technical analysis truly is.  She covers how she approaches the market, how it has changed over the last twenty years, and how she came to work for herself writing Top Stocks.  Although it took a year to move my practice and develop this forum, I believe you will find this intereview just as relevant now as when I spoke with Helene last year.  Click on her picture to the right to learn more about her newsletter Top Stocks.
